Are You in a Hub Traffic Jam?
Have you been keeping a vigilant eye on your hub traffic stats?
You check and re-check your stats to see where the best traffic is coming from, and then you come back to see how often your traffic stats are going up... You've written some well thought out hubs, made sure to befriend some active hubbers and you regularly read hubs on hubpages that you like...
So what's up with your traffic? Why is it only slowly going up?
If left to their own devices, your hubs will probably not gain a ton of traffic. They need your help if you'd like to see an increase in readership from the net. I found myself in your position before, and to help you get more hub traffic, I'd like to offer you some tips...
Share With Your Friends
Are you tweeting, posting and sharing your hubs with those you know on social networks? If not, why the heck not?!
Your hubs are already equipped with two popular social bookmarking tools (facebook and twitter), so make sure you are the first person to use them! By getting your hubs onto social networks, you're more likely to get picked up by google spiders and you'll be earning the revenue from your hubs circulating around the social nets. Don't be shy! Share your hubs!
Digg It
Digg hasn't lost a thing, and still appears to be the best social book marking sit around. You're truly missing out on some awesome traffic if you're not submitting your hubs to digg.
Post on Craigslist
This works especially well if you're posting local topics or political hubs, but you can pretty much post anything you want on craigslist and people will read it. For that matter, I found it increases your hub traffic by at least half of what is was. It's always worth a try anyways, right?
Author Fanpage
That's right, get on facebook and start yourself a Fanpage. I prefer to just have one fanpage for all my online writing, but you could very well start a fanpage just for your hubpages work. It's up to you. Though by only using one fanpage for yourself as an author, you won't be as much of a social pest. So make sure to weigh the pro's and con's.
Getting a fanpage going can connect all your friends in one place, making it easier to get their attention when you have a new hub available to read, and it will also increase your chances of being spotted by search engine spiders.
Author Blog
If you want to get really creative, you could get onto blogger or a similar blog site and start up a blog that covers your hubs and online writing. Consider it an extra "hub-reel" sort of thing, as it will mostly just be for catching extra google traffic then anything else.

I usually have the best luck in the "community>general" section. Though if you have a specific hub that fits into another section, use it! The rants and raves section brings in a lot of traffic as well if you have something fitting. =)
I never thought of using craigslist, but you are correct that a lot of people are just going on craigslist and looking around.
I'm with everybody else--Craig's list. Never thought about it. And there's a place there to post your writing? Does it give you a lot of traffic. Interesting hub!
I'm interested, but maybe not to the point of going to Craig's list. I've heard some negative things about that, recently, some scams, identity thefts, some things about Craig's list which put your personal computer at risk. Just a little warning--be careful!
Yes, I've heard those rumors too, though I'm pretty sure the risks are only if you click on malicious links. Which is why it's generally a good idea to leave a blurb about your hub along with the link, so that others know it's not a malicious link. Then just don't click any links yourself, lol

Craigslist is an interesting idea. I have tried Digg but never got any traffic from there.

@Sharingonline, can you give a bit more details? Do you mean getting your hubs onto the top 5 ranking on google? Or were you thinking of something else?
have written a good blog for people who want to earn big, after so much of effort i am not getting traffic please suggest me how i boost my blog in huge traffic visitors
Well, a big help would be to get a grammar editor. I believe microsoft word has a basic one. Having proper grammar makes a big difference when gaining traffic. If someone comes along to visit your page and notices all the broken english and improper grammer, they aren't likely to want to share your page with others, which puts you at a disadvantage traffic wise.
You'll also want to go through a correct your formatting. Make sure there is a whole space after each paragraph, and don't use a whole space to often for single sentences.
Another thing that is discouraging increased traffic, is your domain name. "easyways2all" doesn't incorporate the best SEO and it really needs. "easyways2makemoney" might work better, though then you are adding more words, and hyphen ("-") would be better in that case, when considering traffic. Though if you're going to go that far, you might as well just purchase a true domain name, instead of the free one from blogspot.
Though you are wise to use blogspot, as it is a very popular blogging site, and with lots of grammar editting and formatting clean up, you could very easily gain more traffic simply through the blogspot community.
I see that you've set up your metatags as "make money online". This both helps and hinders you when it comes to traffic. It's really a novices mistake when it comes to SEO, and something we all have to learn. "Make money online" is very specific and people do search or it millions of times a day, however, way to many other markets already know this, and they do everything in their power to keep anyone else from getting on the first page with those search terms.
You could continue to try and beat them, though it will be difficult without lots of money. I would instead suggest that you try different search terms that are not as competitive. Google has free tools to help you figure out how, you can try Sktool for starters.
Also, if you're not promoting your blog on facebook and other social networks, you're loosing out on massive traffic. Share it with your friends, family and others, and make sure when you post it's set to "public", as that will enter it into google searches as well.
Now, this is not my favorite thing to ever say to another writer, though you asked for some advice and I would love to see you succeed. The content you are blogging about is okay in nature, but it really seems like you have simply read a bunch of books, blogs or other resources on making money online, and that you have regurgitated it into your blog. It's not original, which is fine when you are just getting used to blogging. Your true writers voice will come out in time, though it won't help you much until it does. Readers can tell when someone truly has experience and expertise, and when they are simple well informed about a topic.
Which begs the question, are you truly earning online in the same ways that you are suggesting that others should do? If you are, then use those experiences for your blogs. That's what a blog is really supposed to be, like a journal or diary that others can read.
One more thing, if your blog is anything less than 6 months old, you still have some time to go before seeing a lot of traffic, even if you've been doing everything you can to gain more traffic.

Okay dude - this got me interested simply because I've never even thought to post anything on craig's list.
Where do you link stuff there? I'm all for trying anything "legal" with HP and Google!
